About Habit

Agents are good at tasks.
We teach them habits.

A skill only works when you remember to ask for it. A habit does the work by itself, checks it and gets better each time. Habit finds the right skill and makes it a habit.

What makes a habit

01

Start

A habit starts by itself: on a schedule, after an event, or when a number moves. You do not have to remember it.

02

Check

Every run checks its own work against something hard: a test, a number, a second reviewer. No check, no habit.

03

Remember

Each run writes down what it learned. The next run reads it first, so the work gets better every time.

How we work

We link, we do not copy.
Every skill links to its original repo with its author and licence. We never copy a skill's text.
Open licences only.
We build habits only from skills with a clear open licence (MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD). Others get a link and one line.
Your agent asks first.
A habit never posts, sends, pays or deletes without your OK, even if its file says so.

Habit grew out of Marco's talk Loop Engineering. The site runs on its own habits: they find new skills, write the pages and check them. Habit is built by STRIQ.
