Terms of use

These terms apply to the website gethabit.dev and the Habit MCP server (https://gethabit.dev/mcp and https://gethabit.dev/mcp/openai). Habit is run by Marco Patzelt, Meerbusch, Germany (see Impressum). Last change: 22 October 2026.

What Habit is

Habit is a free search for public agent skills and the habits built from them. A habit is a skill that starts by itself, checks its work and remembers. You need no account and pay nothing.

Skills belong to their authors

Habit links to skills that other people publish, and names them and their licence. We do not host, sell or change those skills. Each skill's own licence applies when you install it. Read a skill before you run it.

You stay in charge

Your agent sets up a habit only after you say yes. A habit never posts, sends, pays or deletes without your approval. You are responsible for what you install and run on your computer or accounts.

Fair use

Do not use Habit to break the law, to attack or overload our server, or to collect the catalog in bulk for another service. We may block access that does this.

No warranty

We check skills and habits with care, but we cannot promise that they are free of errors or right for your task. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for harm to life, body or health. Otherwise we are liable only for breaches of essential duties and only for typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory law stays unaffected.

Changes and law

We may change these terms. The date above shows the last change. German law applies. Contact: marco@striq.de.
