The skill

The playwright e2e testing skill sets up end-to-end tests with Playwright: page objects, role-based locators, shared auth, network mocks, visual checks, dead link detection and CI.

Only when you ask.

The habit

No broken flows or dead links.

↻ Runs by itselfpush to main

How the habit works.
You don't have to.

Three questionsWhen does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?

One run, step by step.
Then it stops.

Stop ruleStops after one full suite run per trigger, with at most 2 retries per failing test.

  1. 01

    Install browsers

Your agent installs dependencies and Playwright browsers with npx playwright install.

  2. 02

    Auth setup

The setup project logs in once and stores the auth state for the other tests.

  3. 03

    Run E2E suite

It runs npx playwright test with page objects and role-based locators across the configured projects.

  4. 04

    Check links

It runs links.spec.ts and the image check so dead links and broken images fail the run.

  5. 05

    Report

On failure it uploads the playwright-report and keeps traces from the first retry.

What it may do.
Nothing more.

Safe by defaultIt writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.

Is it for you?
Use it when it fits.

Quick checkRead both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Playwright E2E Testing skill helps.
