The skill
The instagram api skill from fetcher.sh gives an agent plain HTTP GET endpoints for Instagram profiles, posts, reels, stories, followers, comments, hashtags, locations and audio feeds, with no login.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Track hashtags and profiles daily.

When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after 30 API calls per run.
Your agent reads the hashtags, location ids and handles you want to follow.
It calls /api/user/handle/{handle} once to get numeric ids.
It calls /api/hashtag/{name}/posts, /api/location/{id}/posts and /api/user/{id}/posts with your Bearer key.
It keeps only post ids not in seen.json.
It writes a short digest and adds the new ids to seen.json.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Instagram API skill helps.
No. The API needs no login, cookies or headless browser.
With a prepaid Bearer key or x402 per call; see the fetcher skill.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from fetcher-sh/fetcher-skills and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add fetcher-sh/fetcher-skills --skill instagram-api.
