The skill
Tsdown is a skill for library authors that bundles TypeScript and JavaScript libraries with tsdown and Rolldown: declarations, ESM and CJS formats, dependency handling, package validation and migration from tsup.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Library builds valid before publish.
↻ Runs by itselfpull request opened
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one build per pull request, with one retry.
Build on Node.js 22.18.0 or higher.
Run npx tsdown --config tsdown.config.ts.
Use publint and attw, set to ci-only in the config.
Run the tests on the built output for each supported Node version.
Write warnings and package issues into the run log.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the tsdown skill helps.
No. Only the build needs Node 22.18+; the target option sets the output.
Yes. Run npx tsdown-migrate.
Copy the prompt at the top into your agent. It installs the skill from rolldown/tsdown and sets up the habit. Or run npx skills add rolldown/tsdown --skill tsdown.
