The skill
The story short write skill helps writers of Chinese short web fiction go from an idea to a finished story, built around one target emotion, a section outline and pacing checks.
Only when you ask.
The habit
Short stories from emotion to draft.
↻ Runs by itselfauthor starts a story
When does it start? How does it check its work? What does it remember?
Stops after one story per run, with at most 2 rework rounds at the gate.
The agent asks the author how readers should feel at the end.
It reads the design references and writes 设定.md and 小节大纲.md.
It reads references/workflow-draft.md in full.
It writes 正文.md section by section from the outline.
It checks word count, section count and both checker scripts, and reworks on failure.
It reads references/workflow-revision.md and runs the final pass.
It writes only in its own folder and asks you before anything goes out.
Read both lists. If the left one sounds like you, the Story Short Write skill helps.
The skill builds the whole story around one target feeling, such as regret, shock or relief.
